Purpose of the Guild

The primary purpose of the Carmel Arts Council Guild is to support the Carmel Arts Council by volunteering time to be a “docent” in the CAC’s Children’s Art Gallery and if desired to help support the activities of the Carmel Arts Council.

While volunteering in the CAC Children’s Art Gallery our Guild members may elect to sign up for as many hours as desired and are not restricted to a number of hours.

Training for New CAC Guild Members

New Carmel Arts Council Guild members will be invited to attend a training session given by a CAC member. The purpose of this training session will be to clarify the expectations of the Carmel Arts Council and to provide information about being a docent in the CAC’s Children’s Art Gallery and the art exhibits within.

All Guild members are expected to promote the Carmel Arts Council and conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times.

Guild Dues

All Carmel Arts Council Guild members are asked to pay yearly dues of $25.00.  Dues are collected during the month of January and are payable to The Carmel Arts Council by check and can be mailed to The Carmel Arts Council, P.O. Box 344, Carmel, Indiana, 46082.

If a Guild member has elected to join during the course of a year the dues will be prorated.

Attendance at CAC Board Meetings

CAC Board meetings are held the 3rd Wednesday of every month. All CAC Guild members are invited to attend CAC Board meetings.  Attendance at these meetings is not a requirement but will help Guild members to stay involved with CAC activities.
