Thanks to the generosity of our corporate and individual sponsors, The Carmel Arts Council is pleased to offer two scholarships in 2024.
The first-place winner will receive a $3,000 Visual Arts scholarship, and the second-place winner will receive a $2,000 Visual Arts scholarship.
Scholarship Requirements:
- Applicant MUST be a graduating senior 2024. Applicant must reside with a parent or legal guardian living in Clay Township, Hamilton County, Indiana.
- Applicant must submit a portfolio containing no fewer than 10 and no more than 15 pieces of the applicant’s
original work. The work should be varied in media and subject. For three-dimensional art, a thumb drive will
be accepted.
- The Carmel Arts Council Visual Arts Scholarship 2024 winners show will be at the Carmel Arts Council Gallery May 17 through July 28, 2024. This traditional show is an expectation for all winners.
- The winning applicants must provide one photograph for publicity purposes.
- The scholarship award winner must provide written proof of acceptance to a four-year degree program at a college or university by April 18, 2024 in order to receive his/her scholarship award. Once this information is
received, a check will be mailed to the recipient shortly thereafter.

Parent signature serves as a release for the Carmel Arts Council and their members, director, officers and representatives from any and all claims for loss or damage. Signature also serves as permission for the Carmel Arts Council to use biographical information and photographs for publicity.
